EC expands coverage with rapid response upright sprinkler K115

I. EC Expanded Coverage Quick Response Upright Type Purpose:

The EC series sprinklers feature a specially designed frame, a larger flow rate of K=115, and a quick response glass bulb for fast reaction time. They offer a larger protection area compared to conventional sprinklers and are suitable for light and ordinary hazard locations such as shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, office buildings, hospitals, museums, industrial plants, and other similar places.

II. EC Expanded Coverage Quick Response Upright Sprinkler K115 Features:

The EC series glass bulb sprinklers are assembled from a copper alloy frame, imported 3mm glass bulb, bulb seat, sealing components, and a large coverage deflector. They are reasonably designed and aesthetically pleasing.

1. The sprinkler frame is forged multiple times from H59 copper rod, offering high strength and strong corrosion resistance, and is polished and electroplated.

2. The thermal element uses the FR3mm quick response glass bulb from Germany's JOB company, which has high strength and rapid reaction, enabling timely fire suppression.

3. The sprinkler has an exceptionally large flow rate and protection area.

III. EC Expanded Coverage Quick Response Upright Sprinkler K115 Main Technical Parameters:

1. Nominal diameter: 20mm, connection thread: R3/4. Flow coefficient: K=115±6.

2. Rated working pressure: 1.2MPa, factory seal test pressure: 3.2MPa, 100% tested.

3. Response classification: Quick response, response time index: RTI≤50.

IV. EC Expanded Coverage Quick Response Upright Sprinkler K115 Precautions:

1. Sprinklers should be stored in a dry environment between -15°C and 40°C and must not be used in environments below 4°C.

2. When installing the sprinkler, it is recommended to use PTFE sealing tape at the threaded connection with the pipe fitting. The pipe fittings should comply with national standards.

3. During installation, use a fixed wrench (22X24) with the corresponding jaw size and ensure proper usage as shown in the figure below. The tightening torque for the sprinkler should be 10-20N.m and must not exceed 30N.m.

4. Keep the sprinkler clean; painting or coating with paint is strictly prohibited.

5. Sprinklers awaiting installation should be stored in the foam protective box provided by the manufacturer. Construction personnel must not use other containers such as safety helmets or paint buckets for storage or handling.

6. Handling of sprinklers must not involve throwing, grabbing, or pouring. They must be handled gently and with care. The glass bulb must not be impacted. The company is not responsible for leaks caused by damage, deformation, or rotation of the glass bulb due to improper operation or installation.
